Use code ESIMDUDE15 to save 15% on Nomad country plans, regional bundles and global plans.

Most Nomad coupon pages stop at the code. The useful question is whether the discount actually beats Nomad’s sale pricing, referral credit, and Points on the plan you’re buying.

ESIMDUDE15 cuts 15% from eligible country, regional, and global plans, but the value changes fast: saving $1.20 on Thailand 5GB is very different from saving $15.45 on a $103 Global plan.

This guide breaks down the real checkout math, where the code wins, where a $5 referral is better, which plans exclude stacking, and the refund and unlimited-data terms that can matter more than the headline discount.

Use it to choose the cheapest route before you pay for your next trip.

Does the Nomad eSIM promo code work?

Yes. ESIMDUDE15 takes 15% off Nomad eSIM plans at checkout. I tested it this morning on the web store and again in the app. Both applied.

The Nomad eSIM promo code is ESIMDUDE15, which gives 15% off country, regional and global data plans on nomadesim.com or in the Nomad app. You enter it in the “Add Promo Code” field on the payment screen, before you pay.

That’s the whole answer. Everything below is what happens after you use it — including one thing Nomad doesn’t put anywhere near the checkout button.

Nomad eSIM coupon code, Nomad eSIM voucher code, Nomad discount code and Nomad eSIM deal all mean the same thing here. One field, one code, and ESIMDUDE15 is the one we’ve tested.

I don’t list codes I haven’t run through a real checkout. When one dies, it stays in the log marked FAIL rather than quietly disappearing.

About four in ten publicly listed eSIM coupon codes are dead at any given moment. If you found this page hunting for a Nomad coupon on an aggregator site, that’s why the last three you tried didn’t work — nobody there had actually run them through a checkout.

How to apply the Nomad eSIM promo code?

Nomad has the promo field in both places — the web store and the app. Most guides only cover one. Here’s both.

In the Nomad app (iOS and Android)

Step 1:

Open the Nomad app and tap Shop.

Step 2:

Pick Country, Regional or Global, then choose your destination.

Step 3

Select your data plan and tap Buy.

Step 4:

On the payment screen, tap Add Promo Code.

Step 5:

Type ESIMDUDE15 in capitals. Tap apply.

Step 6:

Check the total, not the plan price. The discount shows as its own line.

and

pay

On the website

  • Go to nomadesim.com and search your destination.
  • Choose your plan and click Buy Now.
  • Sign in or create an account.
  • At checkout, find Add Promo Code above the order total.
  • Enter ESIMDUDE15 in capitals and apply.
  • Confirm the total dropped by 15% before you pay.

What you actually pay with ESIMDUDE15

Nomad sells prepaid mobile data abroad in 200+ destinations — no contract, no international roaming bill. These are the plans people buy most, at the 5GB / 30-day tier, with the code applied. Prices checked 8 August 2026.

The catch

Every deal has one. Nomad has four, and the first is the one nobody writes about.

Nomad eSIM restrictions
  • Using a discount code makes your plan non-refundable once activated. Nomad’s refund policy allows a full refund within 30 days if you haven’t installed or activated the eSIM. But plans bought with a discount code are listed among the non-refundable items after activation. So the code costs you your refund rights. That’s a fair trade at 15% off — just know you’re making it.
  • “Unlimited” means 2GB a day, then throttled. Nomad’s unlimited plans give you 2GB at full speed per 24 hours, then slow down. How slow depends who you ask: Nomad’s help centre says 1–2 Mbps, while their destination pages say 512 kbps. Same company, two different numbers, and the gap between them is the difference between a usable connection and a barely usable one. They won’t reconcile it. Unlimited plans are also non-refundable outright, code or no code.
  • Top-ups don’t extend your plan. Add-ons top up your data but not your validity window. Buy 5GB on day 28 of a 30-day plan and you have two days to use it.
  • Codes don’t stack with Sale pricing. If a plan is already marked Sale, ESIMDUDE15 won’t apply on top. Check both prices — occasionally the sale is the better deal.

One more thing worth knowing: your plan validity starts on activation, not purchase, and you have 60 days from buying to activate. So buy early. There’s no penalty for it, and installing before you fly is the single easiest way to avoid landing somewhere with no Wi-Fi and an unscanned QR code.

Promo code or referral — which is better?

Nomad runs a referral scheme alongside its promo codes. A Nomad eSIM referral code gives $5 off for you and $5 off for whoever referred you, shareable up to five times, and it only applies to a first order. Referrals are a flat amount. The code is a percentage. They don’t stack.

The crossover is $33.

Order15% code saves$5 referral savesUse
Thailand 5GB — $8.00$1.20$5.00Referral
Japan 10GB — $16.00$2.40$5.00Referral
Europe 20GB — $27.00$4.05$5.00Referral
USA unlimited 15d — $55.00$8.25$5.00Code
Global 20GB — $103.00$15.45$5.00Code

Under $33, take a referral if someone’s sent you one. Over $33, use ESIMDUDE15. Referrals are first-purchase only, so for everything after that the code is your only option.

There’s also Nomad Points — 25 points per $5 spent, redeemed at 100 points to the dollar. That’s about 5% back in credit. It expires after six months, so it’s only useful if you travel more than twice a year.

And if you’ve never used Nomad: they give new users a free 1GB trial eSIM across 48 destinations. Try that before you spend anything.

Is Nomad actually any good?

Reasonable product, honest pricing, irritating small print.

What’s good:

  • It names the underlying carrier on every destination page, which almost nobody does.
  • Coverage is genuinely wide at 200+ destinations.
  • The apps are well rated — 4.8 on iOS across roughly 16,000 ratings, 4.6 on Android with over a million downloads.
  • Country-level pricing is competitive, especially in Asia.

What isn’t:

  • Plans are data-only, with the UK the odd exception where voice bundles exist.
  • The unlimited throttle figure contradicts itself. Top-up rules are unhelpful.
  • And their /about-us, /refund-policy and /rewards pages currently return 404s, which for a company handling international payments is not a great look.
  • LotusFlare is named as the developer on both app stores but not in Nomad’s own terms — they don’t say who owns it.

Worth it if you want a specific country plan at a good price and you want to know which network you’re getting.

Skip it if you need genuinely uncapped data or you might want a refund.

How Nomad compares to just roaming

Some context, because the coupon is the small part of this.

OptionCost
AT&T international pay-per-use$2.05 per MB — roughly $2,100 per GB
AT&T / Verizon international day pass$12 per day
Industry average, traditional roaming$8.57 per GB
Industry average, travel eSIM$5.50 per GB
Nomad Thailand 5GB with ESIMDUDE15$1.36 per GB

A two-week trip on a $12-a-day carrier pass costs $168. Nomad’s Thailand 15-day unlimited plan with the code is $17.85.

Roughly 90% of mobile users never switch roaming on abroad — the GSMA calls them “silent roamers”. They just turn data off and find Wi-Fi. That’s the actual competition here, not other eSIMs.

What is the Nomad eSIM promo code?

ESIMDUDE15 gives 15% off Nomad eSIM plans. Enter it in the “Add Promo Code” field at checkout on nomadesim.com or in the Nomad app. Verified working on 8 August 2026.

Does the Nomad eSIM discount code work for existing customers?

Yes. ESIMDUDE15 works for new and existing Nomad accounts on country, regional and global plans. For another option before choosing a regional package, see our detailed SimBye review.

Where do I enter the promo code on Nomad?

On the payment screen, in the field marked “Add Promo Code”, just above the order total. It’s in the same place on the website and in the app.

Can I stack the Nomad promo code with Nomad Points or a referral?

No. One discount per order. Codes also don’t apply to plans already marked Sale.

Why is my Nomad eSIM promo code not working?

Usually one of three things: you typed it in lower case, the plan is Sale-priced, or another credit is already applied to the cart. Retype it in capitals first.

Is Nomad eSIM unlimited data really unlimited?

No. You get 2GB per day at full speed, then it throttles. Nomad’s help centre says 1–2 Mbps after that; their destination pages say 512 kbps. Unlimited plans are non-refundable.

Does Nomad have a free trial?

Yes — a free 1GB trial eSIM for new users, available in 48 destinations.

Can I get a Nomad refund?

A Nomad refund is possible within 30 days of purchase, if you haven’t installed or activated the eSIM. Once activated, plans bought with a discount code are non-refundable, as are all unlimited plans.

Does a Nomad top-up extend my plan?

No. Add-ons add data but not validity. If your plan expires, unused top-up data goes with it.

When does my Nomad plan start?

On activation, not purchase. You have 60 days from buying to activate, so install it at home before you travel.

My Nomad eSIM is not working after landing — what should I check?

A Nomad eSIM not working is nearly always a settings issue rather than a bad profile. Check that the plan has actually been activated, that data roaming is switched on for the Nomad line specifically, and that Nomad is selected as your data line.

Is Nomad eSIM legit?

Yes. It covers 200+ destinations, names its carrier partners publicly, and its apps hold 4.8 stars on iOS and 4.6 on Android. LotusFlare Inc is listed as the developer on both app stores.
